So you’re saying that Jesus loves us, but if we don’t join the Mormon Church, he tortures us forever in hell. My question is, does anybody with more than a monkey brain, accept that logic?

Gramps,
So you’re saying that Jesus loves us, but if we don’t join the Mormon Church, he tortures us forever in hell. My question is, does anybody with more than a monkey brain, accept that logic?
Bo Dean, from Salt Lake city, Utah

Dear Bo Dean,
You’re absolutely right on the logic part. It seems that even you can’t accept such faulty logic. My question is, which of the Mormon haters have you been listening to, and how can you with any rational logic come so such a ridiculous conclusion that anyone in the Mormon Church or out of it could ever conclude that the Mormons believe that the Savior of mankind would torture any of us? Since you brought us such a bizarre question, let me treat it seriously and give you a straight answer. I won’t go into any details of the three degrees of glory into which essentially all mankind will go following the final judgement, nor will I go into detail about the extremely blessed condition into which all good people will go who reject the truths of the Savior’s gospel and who do not comply with the requirements that He set down in order to qualify for the remission of all their sins. I will talk about only the wicked people–the murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters and liars. Here’s what the Book of Revelations in the Bible says about them— (I assume that you believe the Bible)
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death (Rev 21:8).
These wicked will not be resurrected during the first resurrection at the beginning of the great millennial reign of the Savior, but will be relegated to the dominion of Satan, there to pay to the demands of justice the full price for all the sins that they have committed. All others will come under the saving grace of the great Redeemer of all mankind, who took upon Himself all of the sins of all mankind through his infinite suffering in the Garden and on the Cross.
At the end of the Millennium, after these abominably wicked people will have fully paid the just price for all their wickedness, they will then be resurrected, assigned to a telestial kingdom of glory, and will be blessed by the Lord to an extent that you cannot even imagine. Here are the words of the Lord concerning those wicked people as given by the Lord Jesus Christ in a revelation to the Prophet Joseph Smith on February 16, 1832—
And thus we saw, in the heavenly vision, the glory of the telestial, which surpasses all understanding (Doctrine & Covenants 76:89).
If you have any interest at all in knowing the truth about such vital matters as your own salvation, I would strongly suggest that you throw into the trash all the ridiculous damning accounts against the Mormon Church that seem to feed your fantasy, search out the missionary representatives of the Mormon Church, pray to God that He will forgive you of your own sins and seek to cultivate the Holy Spirit so that you may be able to understand the truths of eternity and avail yourself of the unspeakable blessings that come to those who love the Lord and who keep his commandments.
