Should I follow the dream that I had and leave my husband?

Gramps,
I can’t figure this dream that I had out myself, and I trust your interpretation of many things. Hopefully you will be able to help me. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost four years. We were married in the SLC temple but have since then gone inactive. I contribute to church at least, but he refuses to go (because of laziness to be honest) and he says he doesn’t feel that he fits in there. Other than this and the typical marital disputes, our relationship is wonderful. However last night I had a dream that I was seeing another man who was a strong member of the church. I remember planning to marry him, although in the dream I was still married to my husband. We were not having a sexual affair, but more emotional and I felt protected, spiritual, and just wonderful overall. I remember nearly crying when I woke up because I lost that feeling. Is my dream telling me to leave my husband? Or that in the future we just won’t work out? Or is it telling me that I need to somehow change him? If so, I don’t know how. I’ve tried so many things. Praying, going by myself (which was the hardest of all). He makes promises about going, and then when Sunday comes around he is suddenly sick.
Please help me fix my marriage spiritually so that I can feel that love in my dream in real life.

Dear Jessica,
It is amazing to me how some people will put more faith in their interpretation of some dream that they have had than they do in the words of the Savior Himself or His legal and authorized representatives on the earth. You have been married in the temple–the greatest blessing that God has to offer His children in mortality. But the realization of those blessings depends upon your faithfulness–and you have thrown them all away. Now you want to save your marriage by putting some interpretation on a dream that would have you further violate your marriage covenants!!
Forget that dream! There is no semblance of truth associated with it. If it contains any inspiration at all, that inspiration is straight from the devil. You know what you must do to restore happiness to your life–OBEY THE LORD’S COMMANDMENTS!! Return immediately to activity in the Church. If your husband doesn’t wish to come back, don’t let that keep you away. If that is the case, he will never come back if you don’t return. Begin to obey all the commandments of the Lord that you made a sacred covenant to obey when you were married. Live is such a way that you will again be worthy to go into the House of the Lord. Attend the temple frequently; try to recapture what you have lost. Encourage your husband to do the same, but NEVER make any demands on him. He must come back through his own volition, the same as you. But the example of your life will have a major impact on his attitude and behavior.
