Is George Peppard still alive?

Gramps,
Is George Peppard still alive?
Robert, from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada
Dear Robert,

George Peppard was born Oct. 1, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan and died on May 8, 1994 in Los Angeles, California. A life-long smoker, he contracted lung cancer, and died from a chemotherapy-induced lymphoma.
He was married five times to—Helen Davies (1954-1964), Elizabeth Ashley (1966-1972), Sherry Boucher (1975-1979), Alexis Adams (1984-1986), Laura Taylor (1992-1994) and had three children.
Peppard enlisted in the Marine Corps at 17 and rose to the rank of Acting Gunnery Sergeant in the Artillery, leaving the Marines at the end of his first tour. He studied Civil Engineering at Purdue University where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi. He also attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
His acting career spanned a lifetime. I remember him best for his role in the WWI aviation drama, The Blue Max. He also starred in the television series, The A-Team.
