In the celestial kingdom, are black people going to be white? because i like being brown.

Dear Bobby-Joe,

All we know about such details of the celestial kingdom is revealed in the scriptures and in the words of the modern-day prophets. To my knowledge not a word may be found on that subject in either source.

However, we can always postulate. My postulation is that we have no way to describe the colors, tones and hues that we will be able to perceive in the next world. In mortality our visual perception is restricted to a very narrow segment of the electromagnetic spectrum between the frequencies of 4000 and 7000 Angstroms, whereas the full spectrum to which we may have visual sensitivity in the next world may include the entire spectrum, ranging from the extremely short cosmic rays of a few Angstroms to the absurdly long radio waves in the range of kilometers..
