Burial Clothes

Dear Gramps,

Being a member of the lds church and never have had a temple
recommend-what type of attire should i be buried in?

Dear Barbara,

I would recommend that whatever is traditional for your society would be best. Also you should consider what you look best in or if you have a favorite outfit. Living in an area of a high concentration of members of the Church, the only thing that bothers me is when men who are unendowed are buried in black suits. This is just a personal preference though.

What I would really recommend is for you to become worthy to receive your endowments. I would suggest you meet with your Bishop and together develop a plan for you to follow so that you can attend the Temple. As you gain a stronger testimony of the Gospel you will develop a desire to receive your endowments. Then you would be buried in your Temple clothing.
